Mora Ferenc museum is the largest museum in Szeged. Ferenc Mora was appointed as the director of the
combined library and museum of Szeged and Csongrád county in 1917 and served in that post as director
until 1934. Today the museum is named in his honor as the "Móra Ferenc Muzeum".
You can find out a lot about Szeged in the etnography exhibition where you can see more than 20,000
pieces of work related to the life of people of the region. You can also visit the archeological
exhibition to find out more about the history of the area in the previous ages.
